Giving Back to LGBTQ+ Youth

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022 GOAL members visited the Quads Housing

to offer residents and staff a holiday meal. Quads Housing is operated by the non-

profit organization Methodist Services. Quads offers subsidized housing options

to LGBTQ+ and other youth, ages 18-21, who are in the process of or who have aged out

of the foster care system.

Members brought pre-prepared dishes to Quads Housing and enjoyed the meal with residents and staff. Conversation and connecting was a key while "breaking bread." GOAL also donated more than $1,300 worth of gifts for residents in time for the holidays. Events like these allow GOAL to give back to the LGBTQ+ community and help advance relations between the LGBTQ+ community and first responder agencies in the greater Philadelphia area.
